The final of the Cup competition pitted local rivals Cayton against Seamer. The Plate saw Thornton Dale take on Filey - runners up in the League. Both matches were keenly fought over 18 ends and the winners would be decided on aggregate scores of the three rinks.

In the Cup final, Seamer were ahead after six ends where rink 2 stormed into an 11-1 lead. The other two rinks were separated by a single shot. After 12 ends Cayton had pulled ahead on two rinks but in aggregate terms Seamer were still ahead. This pattern continued through to the end with Seamer winning by 8 shots.

In the Plate, it was a very closely fought contest with one shot separating the teams after 6 ends. Thornton Dale built upon this narrow lead to open an 8 shot lead by the end of end 12. Filey clawed their way back and the the result was in the balance until the last end where Filey snatched victory by 2 shots.

This was an excellent end to the season. The quality of the bowling was appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed by the large number of spectators.
