The Green was due to be closed on September 25th but thanks to the good weather we delayed closure by a week. On Wednesday some 25 bowlers attended. The autumnal sun made for a super backdrop for an afternoon of excellent bowling.Unfortunately the weather on Saturday afternoon - rain - prevented the final session from taking place, although 10 members did enjoy a good morning of bowling.

Despite the heavy usage during the season with five league teams. two social bowling sessions, Club competitions, Club leagues, Aussie Pairs and Triples Clubs, and informal gatherings on Saturday mornings - the Green looks in good shape.

On Monday we start preparing for next season with members, working with Bernard on scarifying and seeding.
