Yorkshire Day Pairs Competition

As the protocols and restrictions have been adhered to so well and members are clearly enjoying their opportunities to bowl, albeit with changes to the normal experience on the green, we are organising a competition for Pairs to be run on Yorkshire Day – Saturday, August 1st. This will be our first attempt at running a competition under the guidelines and protocols and is restricted to 8 pairs. Six pairs have signed up in the first few days and we anticipate holding further competitions for members.

To date 32 members have availed themselves of the opportunity to bowl socially. Sessions take place in both the morning and afternoon. Although on Tuesdays and Friday when the green maintenance is undertaken the morning session is replaced by an evening opportunity to bowl. Members can bowl up to 4 times a week and there are some 14 sessions with three rinks available each session.
