The finals were held at Scalby. South Cliff had a very keen interest in the Men’s Pairs and Men’s Singles. Peter B & Tom R had played very well to get to the finals but unfortunately came up against a very impressive in form pair from Filey . However despite playing well they were beaten. They have done very well to reach the final and the experience gained will be invaluable.

In the Men’s singles, Paul B came up against Sean K from West Park. Sean had been very impressive in the previous rounds and the final was no different. Despite playing well, Paul went down 15-21.

The tournament was organised by South Cliff and Scalby & Newby. Representing South Cliff were Pauline Turner, Bill Ellis & Graham Stephenson - who organised all the matches at South Cliff. The bowlers owe a debt of gratitude to the hard work the Committee has undertaken to make the competition happen.
